Please contact the temple office before travelling so that assistance can be arranged for elderly or wheelchair-using devotees.
Parking
Parking is available near the temple. Space is limited on Thursdays and festival days.

Contact the temple office regarding devotee accommodation. Gadag town also has hotels and lodges within a short distance of the temple.
Cloakroom
For devotees arriving directly from the railway station or bus stand with luggage.

Temples are often difficult to navigate for those with limited mobility, and this is rarely written down. Here is what we can say.
Contact ahead
Please contact the temple office before you travel so that assistance can be arranged. This is the single most useful thing you can do.
Quieter times
Mid-morning on a weekday is the calmest the temple gets, and the easiest for someone who cannot stand in a queue for long. Avoid Thursdays, Sundays, and festival days if the crowd would be difficult.
Seating
Aartis are attended standing or seated on the floor. If neither is possible, mention it when you contact the office.
What you receive
Udi, prasadam and teertha
All of it is given free. Nothing at this temple is sold to devotees.

Sacred ash from the dhuni
Whenever the temple is open
Udi is ash taken from the dhuni, the fire that burns continuously in the temple. Baba gave it to everyone who came to him. It is applied to the forehead, and many devotees keep a little at home. It is given free — never ask to buy it, and be wary of anyone outside the temple selling it.
