What it is
A meal, given without conditions
Prasadam is served on Thursdays — Baba's day — and on festival days and other special occasions. It is free to everyone who comes, without exception or enquiry. Sponsoring a day of annadan — often done to mark a birthday, an anniversary, or the memory of someone who has died — feeds hundreds of devotees in Baba's name. This is the temple's oldest and most-requested seva.
There is no separate queue, no ticket, and no distinction of any kind in who is served. Devotees, travellers, and anyone who happens to be passing eat the same food in the same room. Baba fed whoever arrived at Dwarkamai, and the practice has not changed since.
If you are visiting for the meal
Come on a Thursday, and plan to arrive before noon — prasadam is served after Madhyan Aarti at 12:00 PM. You are welcome to stay for it whether or not you have contributed anything.

Sponsoring a day of annadan feeds hundreds of devotees in Baba's name. Devotees commonly do it to mark an occasion.

Marking a birthday by feeding others is the commonest reason devotees sponsor a day.

For someone who has died. The temple notes the name on the day.

How to arrange it
Annadan sponsorship is arranged directly with the temple office, which will confirm the available dates and the current contribution. Dates around Ram Navami, Guru Purnima and Punyatithi are taken well in advance. Online booking is not yet available on this website.
